It’s time to rejoice my Canadian darlings. Well, rejoice and potentially hide your bank and credit cards. The iconic Hervé Léger by Max Azria bandage dresses will now be sold exclusively at the St. Catherine BCBGMAXAZRIA boutique located in downtown Montreal. For those of my Canadian ladies who are not Montreal based, you can chat with your favorite sales associate at your local BCBGMAXAZRIA location and they can always pull a dress in for you. Since relaunching the historic French line in 2007, the dynamic husband and wife duo behind BCBGMAXAZRIA, Max and Lubov Azria have preserved the glamourous and seductive style that has come to symbolize these pieces while injecting their own contemporary flair. I’m a huge fan of the line – the dresses are truly investment pieces. It’s no wonder that they’re coveted by celebrities and fashionistas alike.
Tuesday morning I had the privilege of getting a peek at some the stunning pieces that make up the Spring and Fall collections. For Spring there were bold neons, a gorgeous ombre that evoked the Mediterranean sea, and crisp whites that just beg for a trip to St. Tropez. As for Fall, it was a mix of opulence and Rock and Roll with a color palette of grey, steel and black. I love how the iconic bandage dress silhouette has been updated with new lengths and shapes, cut-outs, and hand beading.
