So as Darling Boyfriend and his friends spent Saturday night partaking in typical male bonding activities at our place like smoking cigars, drinking scotch and plotting world/financial domination, I on the other hand had a quality girly night out in Montreal. The company was fashionable, French, fabulous and funny and we grabbed drinks at Whiskey Cafe before heading over to Candy Bar. Don’t get me wrong…I’m usually a huge fan of Candy Bar with their kitschy decor and booze filled slushies, but this time it felt like I was at a high school dance circa 2001 with the old school Jennifer Lopez and Nelly blasting away. Still, thank my Louboutins for the good company, it was a great night out.
I decided to go a little rocker chic…skin tight black leggings, oversized Chanel logo belt, shoulder pads in the Chanel inspired blazer and killer Christian Dior fringed stilettos. I finished the look with a great Tano clutch that was purchased in Philadelphia at South Moon Under thats perfectly suited for swatting unruly male club goers out of the way. The chunky bangle is a great Jessica Kagan Cushman piece that says “Vodka martini. Shaken not stirred” and I paired it with a Kenneth Jay Lane cocktail ring, my grandmothers watch and my trusty evil eye bracelets. As for the little friendshhip bracelet, that was a product of my Friday afternoon boredom.
