I often talk about closet staples and what pieces makeup the basis of a great wardrobe. However, the two items that consistently top my list of must-haves have always been a pair of skinny black jeans and a black turtleneck. Not only do these two items pair together perfectly, they’re also wonderful pieces to build countless other looks around. These jet black jeans from Fidelity are a particular favorite of mine, not just in my own wardrobe but of all the styles the brand offers. They’re a midrise jean, so they sit comfortably above the hips which makes for a very flattering fit on all body types. Additionally, their slim leg and true black coloring also make for a totally flattering silhouette that is quite easy to dress up or down.
They also make for a totally perfect pair of non-maternity jeans for all the reasons above. While under my turtleneck, the zipper and button are totally wide open you can’t tell in the least. Like all on my jeans from Fidelity, they’re quite soft so I find myself reaching for these as much as my yoga pants. I’m not going to lie, putting on real pants has become one of the small victories I’m most proud of.
