This look featuring these Essentials bike shorts are admittedly a bit of a style departure for me. I quite obviously stick to rather feminine looks typically, you know I love a good floral print in particular. However, I picked these bike shorts up from am Essentials drop at SSENSE after seeing them look good on a few people who’s style I really love. I thought it would be fun to push myself out of my sartorial comfort zone. And did I ever! I went full Scandinavian street style with how I styled them. I paired the bike shorts with an oversized sweater vest and a white button down I borrowed from Darling Husband’s closet. Of course, I had to add a little touch of my signature touch of feminine luxury with these gorgeous CHANEL boots and my Hermes Kelly bag. While I won’t be ditching my floral dresses and ballet flats anytime soon, it was fun to play with my style and experiment with a piece of clothing I would not normally gravitate too.
