I was recently introduced to an amazing Montreal based line called Elama. Handcrafted in Montreal and made using only the most luxurious materials, sisters Rim and Rita are breathing sophisticated new life into a rather staid segment on the fashion world. Drawing inspiration from the runway, their cosmopolitan lives, and the women who have had a significant impact on them both, the pieces that make up their first collection are unique and achingly elegant. Already creating a significant buzz in the Canadian fashion world (even star Canadians player PK Subban has been captured wearing a piece from their mens collection) the sisters surely have a bright future ahead of them in the design world.
