One of my daily blog reads is The Coveteur, it’s pretty much fashion porn. Highlighting the closets of some of the worlds most fashionable people, the minds behind The Coveteur allows you to peek into some truly amazing closets through their gorgeous photography and insightful and often times funny interviews. Inspired by their work I thought I’d give you a little peek into the room closet that helped launch this blog and a few of my favorite pieces. Without further ado….please don’t judge…
This represents part of the wall that I used to constructed the main part of the closet. This is usually behind floor to ceiling drapes so that Darling Boyfriend doesn’t go in to shock/can concentrate when he works on his side of the room.

The “nice” shoes, the small picture next to the flower pin is of my parents in their slightly hippy days before they sold out to the “man”
The shoes I wore to my senior prom, almost 10 years old and still gorgeous
A friend of mine used to be the tour photographer for a pretty big rock band, the all access pass is from a show of theirs a few years ago…I ventured to the deep south to join them for a weekend and it was interesting to say the least
I’m guessing you’ve noticed my small weakness for Hello Kitty at this point…we all have our vices, mine just happens to be a cat in a pink dress
This hand painted vanity was purchased by my Great Grandmother while in Europe and means the world to me. The comb and mirror set belonged to my other Great Grandmother and are engraved with her monogram. I also keep my grandfathers dog tag from WWII with the jewelry that I wear daily.
