If I could, and really why can’t I?!, I’d get a facial every 4-6 weeks. Alas, a silly thing called budgeting keeps me from doing this. However, thanks to the Clarasonic Mia 2 I’m able to do my best esthetician impression two times a day with this amazing little brush. Since starting to use this, I’ve seen more pores shrink and my complexion improve substantially. After a long day running around in makeup and then sweating at the gym, nothing comes close to cleaning off the grime of the day like the Mia 2. I’m obsessive when it comes to using a new washcloth each time I wash my face and changing my pillowcase at least twice a week to keep breakouts at bay. One of the features I love the most about the Clarasonic is that the brush head is made of special polymers that don’t allow bacteria to grow since you only have to change your brush head every three months. Honestly, I could keep waxing on about the Mia 2 but I’ll move on to this amazing body wash from anatomicals. It first charmed me with it’s name, “You need a blooming shower!”, but totally hooked me with its rose scent. 
I’m always on the hunt for products that will improve my complexion even the tiniest bit and I’ve long heard that dermalogica is one of the best brands in the beauty business for perfecting your skin. Their sheer tint with spf 20 is perfect for all over coverage that’s light and moisturizing. With the crazy heat that we’ve been experiencing, it’s a great product for evening out my complexion without feeling too heavy. I’ve also been loving the antioxidant hydramist , it’s designed to improve skin texture and fight signs of aging. In my magical world of obnoxious bows and overpriced footwear, it’s never to early to fight fine lines.
I color my hair, so I try to be really careful about the products I use and how frequently I apply heat to my hair through blowdrying, curling, and flat-ironing. This shampoo and conditioner duo from the Pureology Hydrate collection are perfect for keeping my locks soft, nourished, and free from the dreaded horsehair ends that can destroy your look. The line is sulfate free, vegan, moisturizing, helps protect your color, and even smells good!
It’s no secret why Maybelline has developed a cult like following around it’s Baby Lips moisturizing lip balm, it leaves lips baby soft and totally renewed. I pretty much swipe this on incessantly and layer it under all of my favorite lipsticks and glosses. As for the mascara that I’m currently using, Maybelline has the lock down on this thanks to their Volum’ Express Falsies Big Eyes mascara. It’s a big name for a product that produces big results thanks to its two brushes. With one for lower lashes and one for upper, you get maximum targeted coverage and some seriously major looking lashes. These Color Show nail stickers are another new favorite of mine. They’re one of those great beauty products that are pretty idiot-proof, I use them after all, but look like you put in major effort.
Far from your typical drugstore brand makeup, essence cosmetics is actually one of Europe’s top cosmetics lines. With it’s seriously low price point and commitment to creating quality products that are not tested on animals, they’ve quickly become a new favorite of mine. I’m the first to admit I’m a bit of a beauty snob, I’ve yet to come across an obnoxiously priced face cream that I haven’t given a try, but I’m totally smitten with essence’s pretty color palette that’s perfect for creating a beachy sun-kissed look.
