While a body-con dress and heels might not be the first items that come to mind when thinking cozy, they were actually the first pieces that I reached for when I saw that this month’s Le Style Challenge with Le Chateau was to show our cozy Valentine’S Day style. On actual Valentines Day, Darling Husband and I decided to stay in and enjoy a delicious risotto made by him while I donned my finest (and ugliest) fuzzy bathrobe. Clearly, not the makings of a great outfit post but nonetheless rather realistic maternity style. However, he has been quite lovely taking me out for as many date nights as possible before our newest family member arrives in May. Because of this, February ended up being one month-long celebration of Valentines Day with delicious meals at some of our favorite restaurants. This head-to-toe look featuring some of my favorite Le Chateau pieces, both old and new, paired with this stunning Lady Dior bag from LOVEthatBAG made me feel awesome about my new and still changing shape for date night with Darling Husband. I’ve actually found that body-con dresses like this one are the first pieces I reach for when not wearing my aforementioned fuzzy bathrobe. They’re simple, stylish, and in all honesty, quite cozy.
