One of my favorite events of the winter social season here in Montreal is the Concert Contre Le Cancer to benefit the Montreal Cancer Institute. Darling Husband is actually a Young Ambassador to the Montreal Cancer Institute so this is an event that’s pretty important in our house. The evening always promises a gorgeous program of mostly classical music with a hint of some more contemporary pieces as well. This year was heavy on Puccini and the program ended with one of my favorite songs from My Fair Lady. To say that I was one happy little music nerd would be the understatement of the year.
