As a follow up to my Skin Perfection with Charlotte Tilbury article, I thought it would be quite fitting to follow up with a piece highlighting some of my other Charlotte Tilbury favorites. It’s one of the most prominently represented lines in my makeup collection, and I absolutely count it as a favourite. Not only are the products gorgeous thanks to perfect pigmentation and expert formulations, they’re also quite easy to use. As one of the top makeup artists in the world, Charlotte Tilbury knows quality product, and has clearly translated this knowledge into her own line. There’s a reason why her new launches typically have a sold out wait list before they even come to market. The products are just that good. You don’t need to be a professional like Charlotte to feel comfortable using the line. She creates with even the most novice user in mind and creates her collections in a way that make it easy to translate her signature glam in an accessible way. I love that many of her products denote not just the type of look that you can use them to achieve (like glam, daytime or bridal), but are even geared towards eye color, highlighting the wearer’s natural beauty.
LIPS
Lipstick
Pillow Talk – This is one of the most iconic items from the entire Charlotte Tilbury line. Universally flattering, this is pretty much the best lipstick you’ll ever own. It’s another idiot-proof product. The formulation is so good that I can apply it without even looking in a mirror. No need for precision with this subtle, but stunning color.
Tell Laura – Part of the hot lips collection, this stunning geranium red is absolutely gorgeous. Highly pigmented and with a special blend of waxes, it’s one of the easiest red lipsticks to apply. There’s no fear of bleeding or ending up on your teeth, thanks to the incredible formulation.
Kidmans Kiss– A romantic petal pink, this is one of my favourite every-day lipsticks. It’s also a color that works on many different ages and skin tones for a pretty, polished look.
Liner
Pillow Talk Lip Cheat – The only lip liner that I use. While it is intended to be used with the Pillow Talk lipstick, I’ll use it with many other shades as well.
Gloss
Dolly Bird – A nourishing cool-toned matte pale pink lipgloss. The formulation includes beeswax, so your lips don’t dry out and are left nourished and soft. It’s also buildable so you can go for either a softer or bolder look with this color.
Rising Star – Like Dolly Bird, this is a nourishing matte lipstick. A warm pink matte, it’s sweet and subtle.
EYES
Eye Shadow
The Sophisticate – A elegant selection of four matte shadows, creme, taupe, chocolate, and tan. While they’re neutral tones, the shadows are highly pigmented and easily buildable.
The Golden Goddess – Perfect for achieving a beautiful glimmering glow with these four harmonious shades. This is another great eye shadow quad that lets you go from day to night.
Pillow Talk – Golden pink shades that are absolutely gorgeous any time of day, and are universally flattering. Totally feminine and totally beautiful.
Cream Eyeshadow
Jean – This award winning creme shadow is totally foolproof. In fact, you don’t even need a mirror to apply it. A simple finger swipe across the eye lid or brow bone gives the perfect application for this subtle, but shimmering shade. This is one of my absolute must-have hero products from Charlotte Tilbury.
Liners
Feline Flick – The ultimate liquid liner that drys quickly, so no need to fear messing your freshly applied line up. It’s a long lasting formula that is also waterproof.
Rock ‘N’ Kohl – This waterproof liner lasts the day, but also comes off with ease at the end of the day. Perfect for achieving a precise thin line, but can also be smudged for a smokey look. Comes in multiple shades, but black is my favourite for a glam look while brown is beautiful for daytime.
Color Chameleon – These eye shadow liners are one of my favourite makeup products, not just from Charlotte Tilbury, but across the makeup spectrum. They can be used to line the eye for a beautiful precise, but easy to achieve line. They’re also easily smudged to achieve a minimal-effort smokey eye. These come in a wide array of shades and even come with a handy designation in their descriptions for what color eyes they suit best.
Mascara
Legendary Lashes – There’s a reason the word legendary is in the product name – this mascara is truly legendary. This best-selling volumizing mascara gives you totally full lashes and is smudge proof, long lasting, and humidity resistant. An absolute must-have for your makeup bag!
