I have some rather exciting news for my fellow CHANEL devotees, the Métiers d’Art “Paris in Rome” collection will be launching in CHANEL boutiques in the next few weeks. Having previously waxed poetic about the CHANEL 2015/16 Métiers d’Art show (see my full recap and review here), I couldn’t be more excited for this stunning collection to finally be available. In honor of this, I thought I’d share these exclusive images from the ad campaign that I’ve been dying to post since they were first sent to me weeks ago.
Shot by Monsieur Lagerfeld himself, the campaign stars CHANEL ambassadrice Kristen Stewart. Having previously been the face of the 2013/14 Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection as well as other campaigns for the house of CHANEL, she once again steps in front of the camera to represent Lagerfeld’s vision. Evoking the sultry elegance of the “Paris in Rome” collection, the photos show Stewart donning several looks from a collection that perfectly marries Parisian elegance and Italian glamour. Another star of the campaign and collection, the new version of the classic 2.55 handbag that Monsieur Lagerfeld has created. Done in a ultra-soft calfskin, this iconic style has been re-imagined in a minimalist yet no less chic styling of clean lines and smooth finishing.
