To complement my coverage of the CHANEL Haute Couture collection, I wanted to highlight the accompanying CHANEL Haute Couture SS21 beauty look. Skin was fresh and luminous having been prepped with the CHANEL HYDRA BEAUTY MICRO-SÉRUM and CHANEL HYDRA BEAUTY CAMELLIA WATER CREAM. The overall tone of the look was soft and sun-kissed, but with a defined cheekbone. A delicate dusting of color on the cheeks and eyes beautifully complimented a natural lip. This natural lip was achieved by blending out LE CRAYON LÈVRES 162 in Nude Brun and looked beautiful on the array of complexions scene on the runway. This simple and elegant beauty look proved to be the perfect addition to the elegance of the collection. I personally love a more restrained beauty look for haute couture collections – I find that this allows the beauty look to complete the collection, rather than overpower or compete with it.
