Unveiled yesterday under the soaring glass roof of the Grand Palais during Paris Fashion Week, the CHANEL Fall-Winter 2025-26 Ready-to-Wear collection was a triumphant celebration of some of the Maison’s most beloved and iconic codes and symbols. Presented by the CHANEL Creation Studio, the collection played with the concepts of proportion, layering, and length. Scenographer WIllo Perron’s installation of a monumental curling black ribbon as the backdrop to the runway also lent further inspiration to the collection. Needless to say, I am in love with this collection and everything that it represents.

The bow, ribbon, pearl, and flower were the main symbols that the Creation Studio chose to reference for the CHANEL Fall-Winter 2025-26 Ready-to-Wear Collection and they did so in a whimsical yet refined manner. In every size, bows blossom over the collars and cuffs of blouses and dresses, accumulate on necklaces and down the ankles of a dazzling black down jacket and sweatpants ensemble. A long white knitted ribbon wraps around a black sweater ending in a big bow on the shoulder. Voluminous and openwork bows adorn dresses, cardigans, and sweaters. Heels are made of single oversized pearls. A crossbody bag gives the impression of an oversized pearl necklace and was a standout of the collection that will undoubtably become a major collector’s piece. Fabrications like tweed, chiffon, wool, tulle and denim pair and play against each other beautifully thanks to the use of layering. Being a Fall-Winter collection, sumptuous chunky knits in the prettiest pastel tones and beribboned puffers are cold weather perfection.

The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2025-26 collection shows the Maison’s strengths to full effect. Between the elegant ultra feminine styling and the use of some of CHANELs most iconic codes, fabrics, and colours, it was a sublime showing from the Grande Dame of French fashion.
