As a follow up to my article detailing the CHANEL Fall Winter 2021 collection {here}, I wanted to highlight the CHANEL Fall Winter 2021 Accessories that accompanied the collection. I’ll let the photographs largely speak for themselves. The incredible photography duo of Inez & Vinoodh captured these atmosphere shots of the collection that so beautifully highlight the stunning accessories. In a nod to one of the collection’s main themes, chic ski holidays, there are faux fur boots and booties. And in another a nod – this time to the 70s Parisian glam aesthetic that permeates the collection, there are also strappy sandals adorned with bows and chains, pumps featuring the House’s signature camellia, and sequinned ballet flats. And in a further nod to the maximalism of 70s glamour, pearls and strass abound in the form of sumptuous bijoux. There are logo-ed statement earrings, dripping sautoirs, and bangles encrusted in gems and stacked in multiples.
As for bags, the CHANEL Fall Winter 2021 accessories did not disappoint. Always a highly anticipated part of the seasonal collections, the classic flap style featured predominantly. Done in variety of materials and featuring a striking selection of embellishments, they are a celebration of the more is more maxim. A particular standout is a 2.55 encrusted in what appears to be a lucite or mirrored beading in a beautiful pastel colour scheme. This will undoubtedly become a collector’s item and appeal to even the most discerning CHANEL client. There are also jewel like strass-covered minaudières that are another collection standout.
