I’d be lying if I said these CHANEL dad sandals were sexy. In fact, I’d actually go as far as saying they’re downright geriatric looking. But I’ll also say, they’re absolutely one of my most worn pair of shoes this summer. They’re incredibly comfortable and actually quite versatile. They pair perfectly with a pretty sundress but also look awesome with a great pair of jeans or shorts.
I had been eyeing them for the past few seasons. Each time I popped into the CHANEL boutique I’d eye them and ended up trying them on this past spring. I ended up passing on them at the time but noted to my SA that I really did like them and would pick them up at a later time. Low and behold, Darling Husband went ahead and surprised me with them. He was utterly confused as to why I loved these rather biblical looking shoes that look like they could have been borrowed from Moses. But never the less, after being reassured by my SA that I did in fact love them, he scooped them up for me. And while he’s still utterly perplexed by them, I absolutely adore the CHANEL dad sandals.
As for the beautiful jewelry you’ll have noticed in these photos, all of the pieces are from my beloved Maidor. I really love all of their incredible tennis bracelet options, from the classic to the contemporary and have mixed and matched a few of my favourite styles here. I’m also really loving the dainty gold heart anklet that they recently released as well! It’s such a fun little addition to your summer looks.
