The photo with the butterflies glued to my face and the giant jeweled eye-patch…well, that’s the photo Darling Fiance came across when he decided to look me up again after not speaking for ten years. No wonder his message contained the sentence “if this isn’t you, I promise I’m not some creepy guy…” and hint of trepidation. This group of photos were all shot by Laurentius Purnama and the makeup and hair is all his work as well. We always have the best time collaborating together, and no matter how crazy his ideas may seem at first (hello tutu in a graveyard) the photos come out amazingly. This past weekend in Philly, we spent a Friday evening together after his salon closed down coming up with the style he’ll do for me on my wedding day. He drew inspiration from Marie Antoinette, Greek antiquity, and Audrey Hepburn and somehow brought these three seemingly different sources to create a seriously stunning look. Less than two weeks till the big day darlings!
