My second day in Philly was spent popping in to a wedding show and catching a movie. Even thought we’ll be holding the wedding in Montreal, I still wanted to check the local vendors out for inspiration as we start to plan the decor and florals. Unfortunately, no such inspiration was found. I have this strange aversion to chair covers and they seemed to be all over the show…it’s like they were following me and taunting me! I know my loathing of chair covers is a bit silly, but they look like these horrible misshapen ghosts to me. Chair covers and scrunchies are pretty much on the top of my “things I can’t stand” list. I still wince at my former frequent scrunchie usage during my childhood. I guess I’ll just have to chalk that up to being a proud child of the late 80s/90s.
It’s a shame you can’t see the delicate bracelets that I’m wearing better in these pictures. One of my maids-of-honor (yes, I have two) recently traveled through Italy and she picked these up as a gift in Venice. They’re hand tooled and perfect for stacking. On my other wrist, I have a new addition to my evil eye collection thanks to my other maid-of-honor. The more protection the better!
