I actually wore this look for the BCBGMAXAZRIA show during New York Fashion Week, but since my schedule was so insane during my trip, I had to wait to photograph it once I returned to Montreal. At one time, mixing black and blue was a major fashion faux-pas. However, with each passing season, more and more designers and brands are embracing this once taboo color combination. This look is a wonderful example of how beautifully black and blue can pair together. By sticking to just these two tones, I find the outfit looks sleek and uncomplicated instead of looking like a sartorial mistake.
