As per my last post extolling the joys of blazers, I thought I would follow up with showing you how a blazer can totally tone down a body-con dress for daytime. Case in point…how I made a Herve Leger bandage dress appropriate for a business meeting. These dresses are pretty much sex in the form of expensive Ace bandages and look pretty out of place before 5pm. They’re perfect for a night out dancing, drinking, and eating since they have the amazing ability to hold you in perfectly. No Spanx needed with these dresses. They look amazing as an evening option but come daylight hours, they can end up looking a bit…much. By pairing the dress with black tights and a black blazer, I was able to make this super sexpot dress into a fashionable outfit option totally appropriate for the fashion related meeting that I was attending. As for my super chunky necklace, that’s a left-over from my days as a buyer for a vintage and designer boutique…I like to think of it as my fashion girl bling.
