This past Monday, Darling Fiance and I enjoyed a pretty laid back day with no school for me and only a few hours at the office for him. We headed down to the Old Port for a late lunch and ended up in a cozy coffee shop since many of our favorite restaurants were closed. It was one of those rare afternoons when the Old Port was pretty quite, save for a hand full of tourists walking around. This was most likely due to the gray weather and slight drizzle. There’s something about this type of day in the Old Port that I really love. Without the crush of people, the streets are quite and rather perfect for just aimlessly walking about enjoying the old world feel of the neighborhood.
