Hello darlings! Hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s day – I most definitely did! Darling Fiance surprised me with an insane seven course tasting menu at one of my favourite Montreal restaurants, L’Autre Version in the Old Port. What made my Valentine’s day even more perfect than it already was you might wonder? Well, the answer was my new gorgeously highlighted hair thanks to the lovely people over at L’Oreal Professionnel and the equally as lovely ladies of 1Milk2Sugars PR. I was invited to come try out the new DIA Light demi-permanent hair colour that L’Oreal Professionnel is launching. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a glass of champagne and was introduced to the talented Katherine who would be taking care of my treatment. As part of the L’Oreal Professionnel team who educates salons and salon professionals on all of the amazing new treatments and techniques that L’Oreal Professionnel launches, Katherine is easily one of the most talented hair professionals I’ve come across. Seeing someone new for hair color is always a daunting experience, but the moment I started chatting with Katherine, I knew I was in fabulous hands. She listened attentively to the type of highlights I wanted to achieve and then explained how the new DIA Light Highlight Me treatment would give me a glossy and refreshed look and actually leave my hair in better condition than when I walked in the door. She quickly went to work giving me a full head of balayage highlights to achieve totally natural and soft looking results. As she worked away, I was treated to a delicious plate of tea sandwiches and sweets. I was in total salon nirvana to say the least! After letting the highlights sit for around 30 minutes and then washing them out, Katherine debuted my gorgeous new highlights to me and, even wet, the colour looked great. After the blowout, it looked fabulous. Needless to say, I was totally in love with the gorgeous results of the DIA Light Highlight Me treatment I received. With my gorgeous new hair, I couldn’t wait for my Valentine’s dinner with Darling Fiance. A huge thank you to the amazing and lovely teams at both L’Oreal Professionnel and 1Milk2Sugars PR! Also, Darling Fiance would like to thank you for his wonderful new product. He’s rather finicky about his product choices and this met all his stringent requirements, masculine packaging and the ability to keep his hair in place all day long.
