Afternoon Tea with eFashionista

August 15, 2011

Sunday I had the pleasure of attending an afternoon tea at Le St. Martin hosted by the delightful Tania of eFashionista.ca. This luxury lifestyle guide is perfect for keeping you in the know for the best salons, boutiques, hotels, restaurants, makeup artists and stylists across Canada. Tania and her team have started a fashionable revolution to get you to embrace your inner princess. The event was lovely and so well thought out, not only was their a delightful tea service but Mayme Vineberg from Intimate Settings offered useful tips and suggestions for designing and hosting your own events.

I love doing tea, it’s a lovely way to spend time with your girlfriends and I have so many fond memories of attending high tea with my mother and grandmother. My sixth birthday party was actually a tea party at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia, let’s just say I’ve been embracing my inner princess for quite a while. As I grew older, not only did I enjoy this tradition with my mother and grandmother but my girlfriends as well. Even when I first started university I would pop over to my friend’s apartment and we would sit sipping tea, chatting about classes, books, fashion, and life in general.

If you want a great spot to enjoy afternoon tea in Montreal, I was recently treated to a birthday tea at Le Maitre Chocolatier by a wonderful friend and it was great. Next on my list for afternoon tea, Hotel Le St-James. Don’t forget to check out eFashionista.ca! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend darlings!

I enjoy long walks through Neiman Marcus, red soled shoes, skinny black pants, oversized cocktail rings, obnoxious bows, nipped waists and full skirts.
