And I’m back! Thank you oh so very much for your patience while we cleaned up the major hack that’s kept me from posting these past few weeks. Call me crazy, but I felt like you guys didn’t need my articles peppered with links to buy bootleg pharmaceuticals. Since this site needed to be rebuilt, we figured we’d give WestmountFashionista a bit of a facelift. Hopefully, you’re enjoying this new look and layout!
My first look back from my unexpected little maternity leave is this darling little white jumper from Zara that I paired with these classic Adidas Gazelles. This classic style from this iconic brand was one of the hottest styles of the 90s. Everyone from Kate Moss to the Beastie Boys was spotted in them. I had my own pair at the time and they made me feel like the the cool grunge girl I wanted to be but totally wasn’t. In fact, I clearly remember wearing them to see No Doubt during their Tragic Kingdom tour. I remember thinking to myself that I looked so cool. However, while my choice of footwear was decidedly on trend…my friend and I were still chaperoned by my father which was pretty uncool.
While the Gazelle has never gone out of style, I just recently reintroduced it into my wardrobe. Instead of pairing them with flannel and pre-teen angst like I did in the 90s, I instead opted for this great little jumper and Chanel bag from the Paris-Moscou collection.
