This look might not scream “Canadian” to you but it actually is. You see my darlings, save for my skirt every other piece I’m wearing is from a Canadian label. Go Canada! Not only do I love supporting local design talent from Montreal (just wait until next week, I’ll be unveiling a fabulous project!), I think it’s important to support labels from all across the Great White North. This also proves to be wonderful reasoning when shopping… You see, I’m doing my part in supporting the Canadian economy! If that doesn’t get me citizenship, I don’t know what will. That being said, Le Chateau has been a staple in the Canadian fashion industry for years and I love the direction the brand has been going in. Designing and producing much of the line in Canada, I’ve been scooping up pieces like crazy this season- especially their coats. One of my favorite little details is the red maple leaf embroidered inside this coat.
