We started out on a Rittenhouse Square brownstone’s rooftop having cocktails, swapping gossip, and telling stories. After rooftop cocktails, we stopped by two other parties before heading over to a birthday party for Jeremy Maclin of the Philadelphia Eagles. The new Miu Miu’s made their first public appearance and even with them I felt like a total shrimp standing next to the giant players.
Sitting on the rooftop reminded me of just how great it was to live in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Philadelphia with it’s cafes, great shopping, and gorgeous park. Before moving to Montreal I lived two blocks from Rittenhouse Square in a gorgeous heritage building that was the meeting point for my girlfriends and I before heading out for the night. The poodle was even a bit of a local celebrity who was known for her love of hotdogs from the street cart vendors…mustard, no sauerkraut.
