My datebook has been pretty packed lately between my semester winding down and all of the paper writing madness that comes with it, events, and getting myself ready for a rather important trip that’s coming up at the end of May. Thursday night had me running out to two events after spending my day up to my ears in research. First stop was the charming Old Montreal boutique of Nu. by Vickie for the globLove pop up sale. The super sweet blogger turned DJ, DeeLightfuul, was spinning while some serious shopping went down between nibbles of macaroons and other sweet little nibbles.
From Old Montreal to St. Laurent I went after scooping up Darling Husband from his Ivory tower on the edge of the Old Port for the opening of The Main’s newest gastro-pub, SUWU. Situated in the heart of the district, the totally redesigned space boasts a large inviting bar and an open kitchen that kept sending out delicious bites like their signature Grilled Cheese Macaroni and Cheese and Salmon Tartare. The crowd was buzzing about the gorgeous warm interior, yummy food, and tasty drinks like the WuTang. Darling Husband and I will surely be back with friends to take over one of the corner booths for a night of cocktails and nibbles.
