For the second year in a row, the Young Ambassador committee of the Montreal Cancer Institute held its Casino Contre Le Cancer and since Darling Husband is one of said Young Ambassadors you can bet we were in attendance yet again. Last year this elegant but nonetheless crazy fun event raised over $80,000 for the Montreal Cancer Institute and world on the street is that this year’s event raised even more. For our night of playing the tables, wining, and dining for a good cause, I pulled out this Nicole Miller evening gown that I last wore to a wedding a while ago. While I did pair it with the same necklace and shoes that I wore to the wedding, my hair was styled totally differently giving the look a decidedly more boho vibe while still maintaining its black-tie appropriateness.
On a unrelated note, I’ve embraced the stiletto nail and am totally loving the vampy femme fatale style of the shape. My nails this night were thanks to the lovely Vamica at Candy Nail Bar which is hands down one of the best nail salons in the entire city of Montreal.
