For day one of Osheaga with Forever 21, I opted to wear a classic little black dress but with a festival spin. With its lace illusion back and baby-doll shape, it was just the right foil to my decidedly tough girl moto boots. The aforementioned moto boots actually turned out to be probably my best buy when I was prepping for Osheaga. I ended up wearing them every day of this festival since they paired so well with each look are were perfect for spending all day running around the sometimes muddy festival site…
Faux-Hawk and Flowers
While the dress and shoes that I’m wearing in these shots are pretty awesome, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that my hair deserves most, if not all, of the attention. If you’re following me on Instagram you might have noticed the hashtag #BLØMExWESTMOUNTFASHIONISTA on some of my photos. I’ve actually teamed up with Montreal’s braid queen and all around hair guru Kim, half of the dynamic duo behind BLØME, to showcase…
Music Festival Ready Hair
With Osheaga starting this Friday, I’m focusing on putting the finishing touches on my looks and planning what acts are going to be at the top of my must-not-miss list. Thanks to Forever 21, I’m all squared away outfit-wise. I might even have a few extra options. You know, just in case. For Osheaga, I’ve styled three totally distinct looks thanks to Forever 21’s wide range of pieces and styles, and now I just need the right hair styles to match them…
Forever 21 X WestmountFashionista Do Osheaga
Osheaga, Coachella’s Canadian counterpart, is quickly approaching and I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be teaming up with Forever 21 to share my favorite festival styles. I’ll also be covering the three-day music festival and its fashionable attendees. Osheaga, much like many of the big music festivals, is about so much more than the amazing musical acts that perform. Fashion has always played a huge part in music festivals…
Sunday in Old City
Sunday calls for brunch so my parents and I headed to the historic and charming area of Philadelphia called Old City to enjoy one of my favorite restaurants, Continental. After a delicious meal, we strolled the cobblestone streets enjoying the day and popped into a local bookshop where I scored…
A Day at the Museum
I’m back in the States for a little bit and this black maxi dress from ASOS couldn’t have been more perfect for spending the day exploring the amazing galleries that make up the Barnes Foundation. Located in downtown Philadelphia, this legendary collection is a wealth of impressionist paintings mixed with…
