Black Wedges

There’s something about this look that makes me think of Rumi Neely, the blogger behind Fashion Toast. It wasn’t intentional but now that I look at these photos, the platforms and mini dress just seem a bit like her to me. One of the aspects of fashion blogging that I love the most is how it has transformed regular people into style icons. I love a good glossy magazine as much as the next girl, but I love seeing someones personal style come to life without the assistance of a stylist and art director. Fashion blogs have become part of my daily reading over the past few years and I love seeing how different bloggers style some of the very pieces that I have hanging in my closet, each with their own fresh and unique take. I’m always on the hunt for fabulous new blogs, any recommendations darlings?
