Tuesday Night

Tuesday was a busy night here in Montreal. After getting back into town on Sunday evening and then heading back to classes on Monday, I quickly jumped back into the winter social season that’s well under way. The plan for Tuesday night was to start with cocktails at the W, head over to a charity fashion show, and then end with dinner at Santos in the Old Port. The W makes a mean lychee martini and is one of my favorite places to grab a cocktail here in Montreal. I’m a huge fan of the W brand having stayed at the Scottsdale, San Diego, Chicago, and two of the New York CIty locations, so the Montreal outpost quickly became a favorite spot even before I moved here. After drinks, Darling Fiance and I, along with friends, headed over to a charity fashion show in support of the Theatre du Nouveau Monde that featured some of Quebec’s hottest designers. After the show, we all headed over to Santos to enjoy a delicious dinner, great company, and a few more drinks. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy dinner was. Santos is great for drinks and dancing on the weekend, but up until Tuesday night I would have never thought of grabbing dinner there on a week day. The vibe was still great with the DJ spinning a fun mix of music and the drinks perfectly mixed.
