Cafe Holt
One of my favorite places to have lunch in Montreal is at Cafe Holt, the fashionable cafe in the basement of Holt Renfrew. They serve delicious tartines, similar to an open faced sandwich, and have an all around great menu. The decor is super chic with ghost chairs and touches of Holt’s signature pink popping up. For my parent’s last full day in the city we popped over to have a late lunch here before heading over to Outremont for a little shopping. I know you’ve seen the Jacques Ferber boots a lot recently, but once the snow hits here in Montreal your shoe options become pretty limited. Don’t forget to check back tomorrow, I’ll be adding a new boutique to my shopping guide!

I remember a lunch at Cafe Holt with Lani of Mon Petit Chou Chou during our little tour of Montreal last year. It reminded me very much of the cafe at Selfridges, one of my favourite stores in the UK. The perfect resting place in a day of shopping I agree!
Hope you had a lovely Christmas!

Isn’t it the best? I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal there. However, it is dangerously close to way to many pretty things that make me want to shop!
I was just thinking of you and Sarah when I saw this post! Clearly we were both reminded of the lovely lunch we had there during our visit. It was delish and so nice to rest up pre shopping and touring. We need to plan another trip soon!
Yes you ladies do! It really is the perfect spot for a a bit of pre or post shopping lunch.
I really love the striped sweater with the boots! Really cute look and blog!
